Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 10, 2026

Groove Metronome is built by Nathaniel School of Music. The app is designed as a musician utility: it should work quickly, locally, and without asking for an account in version 1.0.

What the app stores

Groove Metronome may save practice settings, themes, setlists, imported-file session state, and offline app files on your device or browser storage so the app can remember your setup.

Audio, MIDI, and microphone use

Audio and MIDI files you import are used to analyze tempo, markers, and playback inside the app. Microphone access is requested only when you choose live tempo detection. The current version does not upload your recordings, imported audio, or MIDI files to Nathaniel School of Music servers.

Personal data

Version 1.0 does not require login accounts and is intended to collect no personal data. If future versions add accounts, paid plans, cloud backup, analytics, or team sharing, this policy and the App Store privacy details will be updated before those features are released.
